Nucleology,
or The Last Cave Painter
(2021)
This series of nine paintings imagines a future archaeology where painted polystyrene fragments are found and pieced together in an attempt to make sense of a past catastrophic event.
Though this series toes the line between painting and sculpture, the painted color and form are foremost whereas the sculptural form is secondary. Also, the title refers to the Cave Paintings series from 2016.

Nucleology (Hashtag Version)
Part of my studio process involves reassembling work into other media. Towards that end, I created a short visual clip that uses audio to create
an environment and expand the context of the work.
